i went in to get a nice ombre going from my natural brown to a violet to a lilac. I was in the salon from 3pm to 8pm and the time i spent in that salon chair would not at all bother me if i had walked out with a look even slightly similar to what i had wanted.

Instead i had so many different blotchy colors all over my hair. The most bewildering part of it is that even though she bleached my hair and then re-bleached the tips TWICE, she put the darkest colors on my tips. It almost looked like i had a reverse ombre with added spots of odd colors. She told me to rebook an appointment so that she could fix it but i would not trust her to touch my hair ever again.

My friends joked that my hair should be on a skittles commercial....THERE WERE SPOTS of the colors of the rainbow! It was like a circus in my hair. So i went to an Aveda trainer and she told me that because my tips were too dark there was no possible way to achieve any type of ombre without lightening my tips again, which she discouraged because of how damaged they were. So the end result was that she cut some of the fried pieces off and evened out my blotchiness with an all over color that matched the dark tips.

But at the end of the day i still wear my hair up and hide it in a beanie because of how embarrassed i am of it. I wanted a subtle ombre with a little color play in it and ended up with chaos. I then put in a complaint to get my money back and the district leader of Regis AND the supervisor were all so rude! Heather told me she would have a supervisor contact me the next day and i got nothing after a week and had to go through customer service again.

Trust me when i say this, they do not care about you at all, i don't even think they care about hair. They are all terrible!

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $122.

Please do not say that about all regis hair salons . There is more than just one hair stylist.

There are different levels of stylists ranging from "stylist" to "master designer" you may have experienced a lower stylist at that time. You can request a higher, more qualified hair stylist.

Just because one hair stylist may have messed up your hair, doesn't give the entire staff a bad name. Our Regis salon in college station , tx has an awesome team!!

Color mistakes happen. I mean I know that's not what you want to hear but they do.

It is hair overall, you could have a real problem like not being able to walk, your health I am sure is great and your breathing. Think back to when u first start a job and the trials you have and you learn from your mistakes and you became better at it.

Hairdressing is no different, even the greatest hairdressers in the world have messed up someone's hair. Unfortunately you suffered that outcome, such is life.

Regis customer service is non existent. They are all so rude and not willing to help.
