No Show appointment
Very poor customer service. When you make an appointment with a client you should at least open your store on this.

My name is Brien J Charles husband to Tennise Robinson-Charles. We're Tennessee cosmetologist,top graduates of Empire Education Group/Regis Salon.We discovered the theft of our identities and over $120,000.00 in Title IV funds February 4 of 2017.
I was forced to file Tennessee Human Rights Commission/EEOC matters in Chattanooga Tennessee after a series of harassment, discrimination,wage theft, unemployment insurance fraud targeting me and my spouse at the hands of these people.We filed an American Arbitration Association complaint 10/30/2017 from a hotel in Knoxville Tennessee. Case number 01-17-****-****. Somehow through very aggressive cyber/gangstalking and mail/wire fraud we were ran out of that hotel and Regis Salon moved right in and fraudulently settled the arbitration demand impersonating me as they were cyber/gangstalking us in Phoenix Arizona.I was kidnapped as recently as 09/02/2024 here in Jonesboro Arkansas after I filed a Ripoff Report against Days Inn motel in conjunction with Waffle House and ex Shelby County District Attorney Amy Weirich.
Regis continues to stalk and steal our identities until this day!!! Current Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy is aware of our issues.However we remain homeless,cyber/gangstalking, unemployment insurance fraud victims of these dangerous, racist criminals!!!

They have set up an 870 area code number using our identities in this city as they stalk the life out of us in retaliation for Tennessee Human Rights Commission/EEOC matters filed 05/07/2016 in Chattanooga Tennessee.Regis bribed then DA Amy Weirich of Shelby County whom unlawfully moved the complaints to Memphis and used a childhood associate (Marius Blake) to impersonate me and "settle" all complaints filed.

My hair was overprocessed. It is brittle now.
I went in for highlights and I ended up with an all over bleach. She put a gray toner in it which didnt do anything to it but make it more brittle and ended up paying $228 and Im very not happy with the results and as I was sitting there, the employees were very inconsiderate to other customers and my stylus left to go get different types of shoes because she decided to wear high heels today

Went in to get a hair cut had a picture of it told her I had thinning hair and that I wanted it cut so I had volume on the cut. She started by cutting my hair all one length and then started on the back then took all the longer side pieces of hair and chopped them off.
She was the only one there and kept leaving me to do other stuff and then start cutting again. She staked the back right but then continued to chop off all the length for the top and used thinning scissors after I asked for volume. Theres no hair left on top for volume and the top still has long pieces of hair that was missed.
This was the worst hair curt Ive ever got I went asked for a haircut no shampoo no styling and got charged 26.00 when it is listed as 15.97 per hair cut but Im guessing that was because she started cutting my hair at 130 pm and ended a 315 pm and had so many interruptions I got charged extra? Who knows but I will not recommend going to Sara at smartstyle in Covington Va for anything according to her she only has 1 other part time worker that id recommend you head for.

It's 8 and a half years later and I'm STILL growing out this monstrosity. At about 4 inches below shoulder length, it's FINALLY just today been trimmed free of all the jagged unevenness. Thank GOODNESS.
Years of growing out hair that grows like molasses in January

This happened in Elmira, NY at the Arnot Mall. In order to get this review to post, I had to choose a location at random.
It's an all-encompassing problem with the company, so therefore, the exact location doesn't matter anyway.
Mind you, this has been growing out for a few years now, but what happened to my hair was so heinous that I still feel moved to speak up about it. My hair has a section in back that, after numerous trimmings in the intervening years, STILL has a section that's *at least* 2 inches shorter than the rest of it, after having started out something like 4 inches shorter, meaning that when she actually cut it, it was probably cut almost to the scalp. It's not a small section, either. Thank goodness my hair is long enough now that it's not obvious anymore, but at this point I'm not going to get anything done in back until it's considerably longer, and given how long it takes my hair to grow, it may well be into next year before I do anything in the back.
I have receipts in the form of photos which thank goodness I had taken and kept. Omfg people, just LOOK at how GODAWFUL it looks!! She could have used a WEED-WACKER to do this! And me with nothing but a BFA in fine art used to, in the metro DC area, keep my sister's Andrè Chreky (Google it) bob in PERFECT order for FREE in between expensive visits, and she is a LAWYER who HAD to look professional and polished at all times!
Yes, I *easily* accomplished something that this so-called "professional" could not only NOT do, but would totally MANGLE your hair in the process!

I have a serious complaint
The first picture is before going in but my roots where growing in a little more second is what I asked for last 2 is what I ended up with. My hair was so damaged and looked gray in person she didn't put anything on the blonde to protect it from the dark. It took 8 hours to just look bad and damage my hair and the manager refused to give me my money back $210 I cried for days and got red to cover it at home.if the hair stylist could not do it I wished she would have told me( I payed with a card so I can get the info from my bank )

At this point I am just going to encourage people to use any salon that isn't Regis .they have no respect for anyone customer or employee. So people need to know what they are or aren't getting for the expensive hair cuts ,etc that are paying for
A stylist was let go this morning, after making grievances about a district manager. This situation is ridiculous and very prejudiced.
Not mention retaliation. This termination has been creating a hostile work environment and bleeding over into the stylists home life as well.
If I do not hear back from you, I will assume this is how your company does business. I will have no choice but to use word of mouth to encourage people to only use private salons and not your company salons

I have a serious complaint
I went to the smart style in Huntington WV and completely messed up my hair. The manager the will not give me back my money.
And is ignoring my calls. She said the owner was going to contact me and never did.
Get money back
Im a stay at home mom. She ruined my hair and my clothes.
Was told I would be contacted and never did.
I got new clothes as a gift. Price tags I took off that morning to get my hair done.
Preferred solution: A shirt and a cardigan that is brand new with tags and not ruined. Calvin Klein.

LOL. The girl, Ceirra Hammonds, BUTCHERED ME and GOT BY WITH IT. And, she sold me OLD and STINKING Shampoo & Conditioner and got by with it.They kept over $66.00 from a 65 year old woman, cancer survivor, AND COULD CARE LESS.
She said she could. I told her I dried my hair with my fingers. At end she had to use a razor on back to make cut & style SEEM RIGHT. She used brushes n blow dryer to style her BUTCHERING OF ME.
Then, sold me shampoo & conditioner for volume.
I am 65 years old, on a limited income and have survived Cancer. $66.74 is A LOT of money to me.
On Monday, 10/9/2023 I washed hair n saw WHAT Ceirra Hammonds had done. Butchered Me! I called n went to the salon.
She was there alone. She told me to sit in chair and we would talk about my hair. AS IF I WERE STUPID ENOUGH TO LET HET TOUCH MY HAIR AGAIN!!! I asked to return the UNUSED SHAMPOO & CONDITION (UNUSED) BECAUSE IT STINKS.
She said NO REFUNDS.
TOLD HER GOD BLESS YOU and LEFT.
I was referred to another place n went there because of needing emergency help of my BUTCHERING. My hair WAS 4 DIFFERENT LENGTHS and the stylist could not explain what CEIRRA HAMMONDS did to my hair. This stylist cleaned up the butchered mess. And, this salon DOES ACCEPT UNUSED PRODUCTS.
YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING TO CORRECT THE BUTCHERING BY A STYLIST.
I will file a report with the BBB and trying to get an article in a local paper.
I went to Randolph County Senior Citizens for a lunch and the people could not BELIEVE WHAT HAD BEEN DONE TO MY HAIR. I saved many from going to this salon and Ceirra Hammonds.
Took my money, butchered my hair, got by with it, and NEVER OFFERED ME A REFUND.

Hi I booked an appointment for a dry hair trim for my disabled son who is 11yrs old at your Birkenhead Wirral salon I wasnt informed at any time of the price nor did as I ask as I assumed it would be a reasonable price .
On paying I wasnt informed just handed the the card reader which unfortunately I couldnt read as Id forgotten my glasses I stated this to the hairdresser !
When I left I checked my online banking and to my astonishment and disgust I was charged £27 I then called one of your other salons in the area and they said it shouldnt have cost that much for a child of his age .
I then called the salon who did the cut to complain and she informed me that was the rate that Regis state they have to charge! And she then said I shouldve asked which I disagree a cost should always be provided before a commitment is made , Im a single mum with a severely unwell child that cant afford to spend £27 on a childs haircut that has taken food off the table . Im hoping you agree that the price charged is unreasonable as Id further not take this further re naming and shaming via social media at the moment I am extremely upset I usually cut his hair myself as money is tight and now I wish I had and .

On 19/7/2023 I asked for a cut, style, wash, condition, etc. Showed picture of how my hair was 27 months prior.
I had cancer, lost it all, it grew out, was hoping chemo hair could be cut n I could get my old style back.
DO NOT GO TO Smart Salon inside Walmart, Elkins, WV. A girl named Ceirra Hammonds BUTCHERED my hair. It was 4 (FOUR) different lengths and she covered it up by styling with brushes n blow dryer n using gel, etc. I went back crying, showed her, told her GOD BLESS YOU.
She wanted me to sit down in the chair and talk about it. AS IF I WOULD LET HER TOUCH MY HAIR AGAIN.

Gift card issues
I am having an issue using a gift card that my mother had purchased for your brand at Cost Cutters. I have use the card one time at a Cost Cutters in new Berlin Wisconsin, but had a lot of issues trying to get them to use it. I then was very upset about the way I was treated and did not want to go back to that Cost Cutters, and found another salon Supercuts that was also owned by Regis from my understanding they would except the gift card but when I showed up for my appointment, they said they do not except a gift card although I was told from a previous employee couple days ago that they do except the gift cards I would just like to get my haircut if somebody could please help me find someplace to get my haircut with this gift card that my mother purchased

Agreed to come in for a consultation for highlighting my hair. We talked and after a test strand I was quoted a fair price and the procedure/steps for the highlight.
When I was finished I finally got to see the results I was so discussed because there was no highlights and he did totally something else called a melting. Never what I asked for nor wanted.
I wanted highlights and got crap that I paid for. Want my money back
